Tuning Relationships with Music® offers training and supervision to professionals working therapeutically with families dealing with the aftermath of traumatic experiences, and therapy for families.
Training is suitable for counsellors, family therapists, music therapists, psychologists and others working in settings including family violence, child and youth mental health, trauma recovery services, Centres against Sexual Assault, family support services and in private practice.
Professionals and families do NOT have to have any musical training to take part or deliver TRM. For a list of musical instruments used in TRM, click here.
Tuning Relationships with Music® professional training
Tuning Relationships with Music® is a research-based family therapy for parents who have experienced trauma and their children, designed to help them have the attuned, connected relationship they long to have with each other. Musical exercises help families to learn safe ways of communicating, and to manage conflict in respectful, healthy ways.
